‘Poacher’ electrocuted in live-wire trap in Bhitarkanika

A suspected poacher, Nitai Manna, was electrocuted by his own live-wire trap intended for spotted deer and wild boar in Odisha's Bhitarkanika National Park. Forest officials recovered his body and evidence of the trap. However, his wife claims he was a fisherman who accidentally touched a wire set by others.
