Trump says US will 'run' Venezuela after Maduro capture

Nicolás Maduro is in US custody after being seized in a coordinated military assault on Venezuela, as Donald Trump declared that the United States will "run" the country pending a political transition.

US forces extracted the Venezuelan president and his wife Cilia Flores from their residence in Caracas in the early hours of Saturday.
