Flood advisory affecting Alameda and Contra Costa counties early Sunday morning due to persistent rainfall

Alameda and Contra Costa counties were placed under a flood advisory by the National Weather Service on Sunday at 2:05 a.m. The advisory is in effect until 5 a.m.

According to the NWS San Francisco CA, “Flooding caused by excessive rainfall is expected.”
