Iran urges UN to hold US accountable for General Soleimani assassination

Iran’s Ambassador and Permanent Representative to the United Nations Amir Saeid Iravani has emphasized that the US assassination of Lieutenant General Qassem Soleimani was a premeditated, unlawful act targeting a senior official of a sovereign state, and that Washington must be held accountable for the violation of international law.
