Marble-sized hail foreseen with thunderstorms in South Bay Saturday – winds gusting up to 55 mph

Santa Cruz Mountains, Santa Clara Valley Including San Jose, Northern Monterey Bay, Northern Salinas Valley/Hollister Valley and Carmel Valley and Southern Monterey Bay and Big Sur Coast are included in an updated report for strong thunderstorms by the National Weather Service on Saturday at 1:55 p.m. The alert is in effect until 2:30 p.m.

The storms are packing pea-sized hail (0.25 inches).
