Colorado, Arizona State both in mini-funks entering Big 12 play

Colorado and Arizona State enter Saturday's Big 12 opener at Tempe, Ariz., with both teams coming off consecutive losses, including humbling defeats at home in their last outings.

Colorado (10-3) lost to Stanford 77-68 in Phoenix on Dec. 20 before falling to Northern Colorado 86-81 on Sunday in Boulder.

Arizona State (9-4) followed a 90-77 loss at UCLA on Dec. 17 with a 78-75 defeat to Oregon State in Tempe on Dec. 21.
