Centre notifies acquisition of 382.82 acres in Assam to upgrade Tezpur Air Force Station

The Centre has notified the acquisition of 382.82 acres in Assam’s Bokajan village to upgrade Tezpur Air Force Station. The land will be used by the Ministry of Defence for infrastructure development, deployment of advanced weapon systems, and other strategic assets for the IAF’s 11 Wing, under the provisions of the Land Acquisition Act, 2013.
