Bank credit to industry rises 9.6% in November: RBI data

Bank credit to industry saw a significant increase in November 2025, growing at 9.6 percent compared to the previous year. Non-food bank credit also expanded. Lending to micro, small, and medium industries showed strong double-digit growth. Infrastructure, engineering, textiles, and petroleum sectors experienced robust credit expansion. Services sector credit grew, with improvements in NBFCs and computer software.
