No test, no marriage? This country makes premarital medical examinations for couples mandatory from this year

The Ministry of Health in Oman has made premarital medical examinations for couples mandatory from January 1, 2026. The rules apply even if one of the party is non-Omani and even if the marriage contract is concluded inside or outside the country. It is prohibited to disclose the examination results to any third party.
