48-year-old Premier League boss in contention to become Chelsea manager

Chelsea’s search for a new head coach is gathering pace following the departure of Enzo Maresca, with Marco Silva and Liam Rosenior emerging as the two leading candidates under serious consideration.

According to journalist Rudy Galleti, 48-year-old Fulham manager Silva has joined 41-year-old Strasbourg manager Rosenior in the race to become the new Chelsea boss.

The club’s hierarchy are keen to take a measured and strategic approach rather than rushing into another appointment, even amid mounting external pressure.
