Cyprus’ first baby of 2026 born in Limassol

The first baby to be born in Cyprus in 2026 was born in Limassol at 2.25am on New Year’s Day.

The baby is a girl and was born at a private hospital in the city.

Her parents are Russian nationals who live in Cyprus. Both the baby and the mother are said to be in “excellent health”.
