BJP, Congress workers clash over Valmiki banner in Karnataka's Ballari

A fierce clash erupted in Ballari between Congress MLA Nara Bharath Reddy and BJP MLA G Janardhana Reddy. Supporters clashed over a banner for a Valmiki statue installation. The dispute escalated to hand-to-hand combat and stone-pelting. Police intervened with a lathi-charge. Both MLAs rushed to the city. An FIR has been registered against 11 people, including Janardhana Reddy and Sriramulu.
