Winter storm warning for Yosemite from Saturday to Monday – may reach 18 inches of snow
Yosemite, Upper San Joaquin River, Kaiser to Rodgers Ridge and Kings Canyon NP are the focus of a winter storm warning released at 2:25 p.m. on Thursday by the National Weather Service. The warning is valid from Saturday 1 a.m. until Monday Jan. 5, at 10 a.m.
The NWS Hanford CA adds to be ready for, “Total snow accumulations between 6 and 18 inches between 6,000 and 7,000 feet. 3 to 5 feet of accumulated snowfall above 8,000 feet. Winds gusting as high as 45 mph.”
