Bangladesh Media reports attack on another Hindu man, set on fire by miscreants in Shariatpur

A Hindu businessman in Bangladesh was seriously injured after he was allegedly attacked and set on fire by a mob in Shariatpur district on New Year’s Eve, according to local media reports. The victim, identified as 50-year-old Khokon Chandra Das, was assaulted with sharp weapons, doused with petrol and set ablaze near Keurbhanga Bazar before managing to escape by jumping into a pond.
