Ohio lawmakers press forward on AI regulation despite Trump order

COLUMBUS — The Ohio General Assembly will continue its efforts to place guardrails on artificial intelligence systems despite President Trump’s executive order threatening states with lawsuits for passing any AI law the administration deems excessive, according to state Rep. Thaddeus Claggett (R., Newark).
