Flood watch in place for Los Angeles County until Thursday night caused by persistent rain
Los Angeles County is under a flood watch which was issued by the National Weather Service on Thursday at 12:17 a.m. The watch is in effect until 10 p.m.
The NWS Los Angeles/Oxnard CA said, “Flooding caused by excessive rainfall continues to be possible.”
“Excessive runoff may result in flooding of rivers, creeks, streams, and other low-lying and flood-prone locations. Flooding may occur in poor drainage and urban areas. Low-water crossings may be flooded. Debris flow are possible near recent burn scars.
