VPNs banned in several J&K districts

In an effort to maintain public safety, several districts in Jammu and Kashmir have implemented a ban on the use of Virtual Private Networks. Local authorities are ramping up mobile surveillance to ensure adherence to these restrictions. The directive, issued by Deputy Commissioners in regions such as Kupwara, Kulgam, Shopian, Pulwama, Budgam, and Srinagar, comes after intensive security evaluations.
