As the UK heads into a new year in a freezing cold snap, a leading dementia charity warns that people with dementia could find this particularly challenging to navigate.

Alzheimer’s Society warns that colder temperatures can be difficult for a person with dementia to adjust to, and they may not always be able to communicate that they are cold – or they may not even recognise it themselves.
