CNN: CIA drone strike hits Venezuelan port facility

The CIA has carried out a drone strike on Venezuelan territory, targeting a port facility on the country’s coast used for suspected drug trafficking. The strike, confirmed by US President Donald Trump, marks the first known American land-based attack inside Venezuela.

Sources familiar with the operation told CNN that the port was linked to the Tren de Aragua criminal network. Intelligence suggested it served as a launch site for drug shipments heading overseas. The facility was struck earlier this month with no casualties reported.
