Bihar govt commissions 1st phase of Rs 2,800 crore Kajra Solar Project

Bihar's renewable energy goals received a significant push as the first phase of the Rs 2,800 crore Kajra Solar Power Plant in Lakhisarai district was commissioned. This phase includes a 185 MW solar plant and a 254 MW-hour battery storage system, enabling uninterrupted power supply for 4-5 hours. The entire project is slated for completion by January 2027.
