Woman dies after fires rips through bungalow in Sheffield

Firefighters tried to rescue a woman from a burning bungalow in Sheffield, but although they managed to pull her from the building, she could not be saved.

Fire broke out at the property in the Upperthorpe area of Sheffield at around 10.45pm on Saturday night.

Crews responded to the incident on Hardy Place, and were able to bring it under control and leave by midnight.
