Dense fog advisory active for Delta until Monday midday – visibility down to 1/4 mile

Carquinez Strait and Delta, Southern Sacramento Valley and Northern San Joaquin Valley were placed under a dense fog advisory by the National Weather Service on Monday at 8:47 a.m. The advisory is in effect until 11 a.m.

The NWS Sacramento CA says to expect, “Visibility one quarter mile or less in dense fog.”

“Low visibility could make driving conditions hazardous,” according to the NWS. “If driving, slow down, use your headlights, and leave plenty of distance ahead of you.”
