Domestic aviation industry estimated to post up to Rs 18,000 crore loss in FY26

India's aviation sector faces a significant financial hit. A net loss of Rs 17,000 to Rs 18,000 crore is now projected for the current fiscal year. This is due to lower passenger traffic and other factors. Earlier estimates were much lower. Domestic air passenger traffic growth is now forecast at 0-3 percent for FY26.
