Dense fog advisory for Delta for Monday – limited visibility

Carquinez Strait and Delta, Southern Sacramento Valley and Northern San Joaquin Valley are the focus of a dense fog advisory issued at 11:31 p.m. on Sunday by the National Weather Service. The advisory is valid for Monday, Dec. 29 between 1 a.m. and 11 a.m.

“Visibility one quarter mile or less in dense fog,” can be expected according to the NWS Sacramento CA. “Frost formation may be inhibited by northerly flow along and west of Interstate 5, or in areas where fog forms early on in the night.”
