Photos: Memorial gathering for outstanding Nigerian Shia cleric late Sheikh Hamza Lawal in Kaduna

A prominent Islamic scholar, and member of the Shia religion, Sheikh Hamzah Muhammad Lawal dead at 59. Sheikh Hamzah Lawal, was one of the active Shiite thinkers who played an outstanding role in the expansion of Shia Islam in Nigeria. The outstanding cleric was Secretary General of Thaqalayn Cultural Center. Sheikh Hamzah is survived by his wife and five children.
