Shhhh! It’s looking like rain on the Rose Parade and Rose Bowl Game on Jan. 1

Keep the raincoats and umbrellas handy if you’re out and about on Colorado Boulevard in Pasadena on New Year’s Eve and on Jan. 1.

It just might get wet.

Rain is in the forecast for New Year’s Day — and that means that the Tournament of Roses Parade could see rain for only the 11th time in its illustrious history.

That’s right. There’s a 70% chance of precipitation on Thursday — New Year’s Day — according to the National Weather Service. That’s on the heels of a really rainy Southern California week.
