Tripura assembly speaker Biswa Bandhu Sen dies; state to observe mourning

Tripura Assembly Speaker Biswa Bandhu Sen passed away in Bengaluru at the age of 72. He was undergoing treatment for a cerebral stroke. Prime Minister Narendra Modi and Chief Minister Manik Saha expressed their condolences. Sen had a long political career, serving as a four-time MLA. The state government has declared a three-day mourning period.
