Former-MNS leader Prakash Mahajan joins Shiv Sena

Prakash Mahajan, a former MNS leader, has joined the Eknath Shinde-led Shiv Sena. This move comes just weeks before the municipal corporation elections in Maharashtra. Mahajan, brother of the late BJP leader Pramod Mahajan, was with the MNS since its inception. He will now serve as a Shiv Sena spokesperson. Elections for 29 municipal corporations are scheduled for January 15.
