Mustafa Suleyman, the head of Microsoft AI, has said that companies may have to spend hundreds of billions to lead the race of Artificial Intelligence, adding that competing at the top level of AI will require an investment of "hundreds of billions of dollars" over the next five to ten years. His remarks come at a time when major tech companies have also invested billions of dollars in building AI data centres.
