BJP leader VV Rajesh made history after being elected as the Thiruvanthapuram mayor which is a first corporation win for the party in the southern state. A seasoned politician, VV Rajesh is a lawyer by profession and has been active in politics for more than 25 years. He has previously served as the Thiruvananthapuram district president and as the state president of the BJP Yuva Morcha.
