High surf advisory issued for Bay Area Shorelines for Friday – breaking waves up to 25 feet possible
Coastal North Bay including Point Reyes National Seashore, San Francisco Peninsula Coast, Northern Monterey Bay and Southern Monterey Bay and Big Sur Coast as well as San Francisco County were placed under a high surf advisory by the National Weather Service on Thursday at 2:47 p.m. The advisory is valid for Friday, Dec. 26 between 4 a.m. and 10 p.m.
