Wind advisory issued for Delta until Friday morning – gusts may reach 45 mph

Delta was placed under a wind advisory by the National Weather Service on Thursday at 11:45 a.m. The advisory is in effect until Friday Dec. 26, at 10 a.m.

“South winds 15 to 25 mph with gusts up to 45 mph,” can be anticipated according to the NWS Sacramento CA. “High Wind Warning was downgraded to the Wind Advisory. Breezy southerly winds are expected, with the strongest this evening and overnight.”
