High wind warning active for Los Angeles County until Thursday afternoon – gusts as high as 60 mph

Los Angeles County is the focus of a high wind warning issued at 3:18 a.m. on Thursday by the National Weather Service. The warning is in effect until 3 p.m.

The NWS Los Angeles/Oxnard CA adds to be ready for, “South to southeast winds 25 to 40 mph with damaging gusts up to 60 mph likely.”
