Napa County under a flood advisory Thursday morning due to heavy downpours
Napa County is included in a flood advisory issued by the National Weather Service on Thursday at 3:20 a.m. The advisory is in effect until 6:15 a.m.
The NWS San Francisco CA said, “Flooding caused by excessive rainfall is expected.”
“Minor flooding in low-lying and poor drainage areas,” the NWS said. “Turn around, don’t drown when encountering flooded roads. Most flood deaths occur in vehicles. Be especially cautious at night when it is harder to recognize the dangers of flooding.
