FBS rushing leader Cam Cook of Jacksonville State to enter portal

Jacksonville State running back Cam Cook, the FBS rushing leader, announced on Wednesday that he plans to enter the NCAA transfer portal.

Cook, who transferred from TCU to Jacksonville State for the 2025 season, leads the FBS in yards (1,659) and carries (295) and shares fourth in rushing touchdowns (16) in 13 games.

The Conference USA Player of the Year and Newcomer of the Year earned All-America honors while leading the league in rushing (127.6) and all-purpose (149.6) yards per game.
