Update: Flood advisory active for Los Angeles and Ventura counties until early Wednesday evening
Los Angeles County is the focus of an updated flood advisory issued at 3:38 a.m. on Wednesday by the National Weather Service. The advisory is in effect until 4 p.m.
The NWS Los Angeles/Oxnard CA said, “Flooding caused by excessive rainfall is expected.”
“Minor flooding in low-lying and poor drainage areas. Water over roadways,” according to the NWS. “Turn around, don’t drown when encountering flooded roads. Most flood deaths occur in vehicles. Be aware of your surroundings and do not drive on flooded roads.
