Saab scores order for Giraffe 1X radar system

Defense company Saab has signed a framework agreement with the Swedish Defence Materiel Administration (FMV) for the compact radar system Giraffe 1X and received an order within the agreement.

The framework agreement includes Giraffe 1X for use in different parts of the Swedish Armed Forces. The first call-off order includes Giraffe 1X in a Compact Radar Module (CRM) configuration, which is said to enable “fast and easy installation on most platforms”.
