A chartered accountant and his wife were apprehended in Greater Noida for allegedly defrauding investors of approximately Rs 20 crore. The couple lured individuals with promises of doubling their money through unregulated deposit schemes and fraudulent share trading. Investigations revealed they collected substantial sums, issuing fake certificates before absconding.
