Donald Trump seems to be doing everything to make himself look worse amid the federal government shutdown, a TV news panel said on Saturday.

A MSNBC panel over the weekend opened with a discussion on one of Trump's latest comments to GOP lawmakers. Specifically, they pointed out that Trump took to Truth Social to appeal to his fellow Republicans regarding the filibuster.

"Remember, Republicans, regardless of the Schumer Shutdown, the Democrats will terminate the Filibuster the first chance they get.
