The season two finale of Wizards Beyond Waverly Place is officially out now and there’s a shocking twist at the end for Selena Gomez‘s character Alex Russo.

While Selena is an executive producer on the follow-up to her breakout Disney Channel series, she only has been making guest appearances instead of appearing a series regular.

In the continuation series, David Henrie‘s Justin Russo had chosen to lead a normal, mortal life with his family, until his sister Alex shows up with Billie seeking help.
