Vermont man sentenced after being accused of evading police
BENNINGTON, Vt. (NEWS10) -- The Bennington man accused of evading the police, leading to a manhunt that lasted over a week, was sentenced after being convicted of aggravated assault and assault and robbery resulting in injury. Zachary Dumas, 39, will face a minimum of 15 and a maximum of 30 years in prison for each charge.

Dumas was captured after an arrest warrant was issued for him for attempted murder on September 8, 2023.
