Shares of Maruti Suzuki, Hyundai Motor, M&M, Eicher Motors, Tata Motors, and Hero MotoCorp surged up to 5% on Tuesday, September 23, after a strong start to Navratri and the rollout of GST 2.0. By 9:30 am, the Nifty Auto index was up 2%, led by Hyundai, while other major automakers also posted solid gains.
