Nightly I-35 lane closures in south Austin this week

AUSTIN (KXAN) — This week, drivers should look out for lane closures on Interstate 35 in south Austin, on both the northbound and southbound sides, during the overnight hours.

The Texas Department of Transportation said the "nightly varying lane closures" will occur between Ben White Boulevard and William Cannon Drive.

This will happen Sunday, Aug. 24, through Friday, Aug. 29, from 8 p.m. to 5 a.m., weather permitting, according to the agency.

"Multiple ramps and U-turns also closed," TxDOT said.
