Man sentenced to prison in Halfmoon shooting case

HALFMOON, N.Y. (NEWS10) -- A man has been sentenced in connection to a shooting in Halfmoon. The Saratoga County District Attorney's Office said Justin Wagner, 26, of Schenectady, was sentenced to 16 years in state prison.

Wagner pleaded guilty to first-degree assault in March. He previously admitted to driving to Halfmoon on January 4 with an AR15-style rifle to confront the victim over a personal issue.
