Salinas Valley inmate convicted of two stabbings

A Salinas Valley State Prison inmate has been convicted of two violent stabbings of fellow inmates, prosecutors said Friday.
A Monterey County jury found Moises Meraz Espinoza guilty of two counts of assault by a life prisoner, District Attorney Jeannine M. Pacioni announced.
