LA City Councilman Curren Price hit with 2 more felony charges

Prosecutors on Tuesday filed two new public corruption charges against Los Angeles City Councilman Curren Price, who was already facing multiple counts of grand theft and perjury for allegedly voting in favor of projects in which his wife had a financial interest.

Price, 74, was charged in June 2023 with five felony counts of embezzlement of government funds, three felony counts of perjury and two felony counts of conflict of interest. He previously pleaded not guilty.
