Rayne shooting: One injured, suspect charged with attempt murder

RAYNE, La. (KLFY) --A Rayne shooting incident lead to one man critically injured and another arrested for attempted murder, police said.

Last night, police responded to a shooting incident in the 600 block of Reynolds St.

Upon arrival, police said Keltrin Keondel Travis D Washington, 25, was found with four gunshot wounds and was air-lifted to a nearby hospital.

Earlier today at 3:28 AM, Rayne officers arrested and charged Demarques Dwayne Francis, 19, with attempted second degree murder.
