APD: 25-year-old charged with murder for killing man in drive-by shooting

AUSTIN (KXAN) -- A man accused of killing 20-year-old Comarri Thompson in a drive-by shooting on July 19 near East Braker Lane and Dessau Road was arrested Thursday by the Lone Star Fugitive Task Force, an Austin Police Department news release said.

Kenan Greene, 25, was booked into the Travis County jail and faces a murder charge, which is a first-degree felony, according to APD. Greene’s arrest comes after a warrant was filed on Wednesday, APD said.
