Suspect identified in Sunday shooting in New Iberia

NEW IBERIA, La. (KLFY) -- A man is wanted for murder in connection with a fatal shooting in New Iberia Sunday afternoon, authorities said.

Jahari Ajani Allen, Jr., 24, is wanted on a charge of second degree murder in the death of an unidentified 22-year-old man.

New Iberia Police responded just after 2 p.m. Sunday to a report of a shooting in the 1200 block of Parkview Drive, where officers found a man with a gunshot wound. The victim was initially transported to a local hospital...
