DC Studios' James Gunn Reacts to Trisha Paytas Naming Her Newborn Son Aquaman

James Gunn is sharing his thoughts on Trisha Paytas‘ baby name.

The DC Studios co-CEO was in attendance at 2025 Comic-Con this weekend when he was asked about the YouTuber naming her newborn son Aquaman, after the DC Comics character of course.

“I saw that, yes. I think that’s cool! I mean, I hope he does okay in school,” James told ET. “I had a hard time with the last name Gunn, like Tommy Gun, BB Gun, Ray Gun. I’m like, ‘Okay, we get it.’”
